Large skillet or griddle for toasting garlic bread
Small saucepan for heating gravy
Knife and cutting board for slicing turkey
Tongs or spatula for assembling sliders
- For the Sliders:
- 12 slider buns or small sandwich rolls
- 2 cups cooked turkey breast sliced
- 1 cup turkey gravy or store-bought gravy
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (optional)
- For the Garlic Bread:
- 4 slices garlic bread or 2 large slices, cut in half
- 1 tablespoon butter melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Prepare the Garlic Bread
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush each slice of garlic bread with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and salt. Place the garlic bread slices on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Once done, remove from the oven and set aside.
Heat the Gravy
In a small saucepan, heat the turkey gravy over low to medium heat, stirring occasionally. If you’re using store-bought gravy, you can add a little turkey broth or water to thin it out if desired.
Assemble the Sliders
Slice the garlic bread into 12 slider-sized pieces. For each slider, place a slice of turkey on the bottom half of the bread. Spoon a little gravy over the turkey and top with the other half of the garlic bread slice.
Toast the Sliders
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the assembled sliders in the skillet and toast for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until the bread is crispy and golden brown.
Serve
Once the sliders are toasted and crispy, remove from the skillet and serve hot. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Enjoy!
