Ingredients
  

  • 1 batch of pizza dough or breadstick dough store-bought or homemade
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons pesto store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil or parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  • Prepare the Garlic Butter:
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and minced garlic. Stir until the garlic is evenly distributed in the butter.
  • Prepare the Dough:
  • Roll out the pizza dough or breadstick dough onto a lightly floured surface. Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut the dough into strips (about 1-inch wide and 6-8 inches long).
  • Brush with Garlic Butter:
  • Place the dough strips on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are slightly spaced apart. Using a pastry brush, generously brush each breadstick with the garlic butter mixture.
  • Add Pesto:
  • After brushing the breadsticks with garlic butter, spread a thin layer of pesto over each breadstick using a spoon or knife.
  • Bake the Breadsticks:
  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the breadsticks are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Garnish and Serve:
  • Once the breadsticks are out of the oven, sprinkle them with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil or parsley. Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
