Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar packed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • Cream the butter and peanut butter: In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer or stand mixer to beat together the peanut butter, softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla: Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until combined.
  • Mix in the dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips: Stir in the chocolate chips with a spatula until evenly distributed.
  • Scoop the dough: Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake the cookies: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. The centers will remain slightly soft, but they will firm up as the cookies cool.
