Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper or aluminum foil
  • Wire rack (optional for extra crispiness)
  • Tongs or spatula

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings separated into flats and drumettes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder for extra crispiness
  • Optional: Your favorite wing sauce Buffalo, BBQ, etc.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture. This helps them crisp up in the oven.
  • In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and baking powder until evenly coated.
  • Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. If you have a wire rack, place it on top of the baking sheet and arrange the wings on the rack for better air circulation and extra crispiness.
  • Bake the wings for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy. For extra crispy wings, bake for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  • If desired, toss the baked wings in your favorite wing sauce (such as Buffalo or BBQ) after baking. Otherwise, serve as is with dipping sauces like ranch or blue cheese.
