Using savory, buttery garlic bread as the base, these sliders are packed with layers of tender ham, melted cheese, and the irresistible flavor of garlic and herbs. The garlic bread adds a perfect crispy exterior and fragrant aroma, making these sliders an indulgent and delicious option for lunch, dinner, or a party appetizer.
- 12 garlic bread slider rolls store-bought or homemade
- 12 slices of ham
- 12 slices of Swiss cheese or your preferred cheese
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds optional
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley optional
Prepare the Sliders
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the entire pack of garlic bread slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a baking dish or on a sheet pan.
Assemble the Sliders
Layer 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of Swiss cheese on each roll. Place the top half of the rolls on top, pressing down gently to hold everything together.
Make the Glaze
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder, and optional parsley. Stir until well combined.
Brush the Sliders
Brush the garlic butter glaze generously over the top of the assembled sliders. Make sure the tops are well coated to add flavor and help create a crispy, golden crust.
Bake
Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the garlic bread is golden and crispy. For extra crispiness, uncover the sliders during the last 5 minutes of baking.
Serve
Remove from the oven and allow the sliders to cool slightly before slicing into individual sandwiches. Serve immediately and enjoy the garlic bread goodness!
