Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk adjust for desired consistency
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice or white vinegar optional, for extra tang

Instructions
 

  • Combine the Base Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth and well combined.
  • Add the Herbs and Spices: Stir in the dried parsley, dried dill, dried chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all the herbs and spices are evenly distributed.
  • Adjust the Consistency: If you prefer a thinner ranch dressing, add a little more buttermilk until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Add Tanginess: If you like your ranch with a bit more tang, stir in the lemon juice or white vinegar.
  • Chill: Transfer the ranch dressing to a mason jar or airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
