Garlic knots are the perfect accompaniment to any Italian meal or a simple snack to satisfy your cravings. These Easy and Fast Garlic Knots are soft, buttery, and packed with delicious garlic flavor. Made with pre-made pizza dough, they come together in no time while still tasting homemade and fresh from the oven.

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper or silicone baking mat
  • Pastry brush
  • Small saucepan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Sharp knife or pizza cutter

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped (optional)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese optional
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • Prepare the Dough:
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll the pizza dough into a rectangle about ½-inch thick.
  • Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide and 6 inches long using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
  • Form the Knots:
  • Take each strip of dough, tie it into a simple knot, and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake the Knots:
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the knots are golden brown.
  • Prepare the Garlic Butter:
  • While the knots are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant. Remove from heat.
  • Brush the Knots:
  • Once the knots are out of the oven, immediately brush them generously with the garlic butter using a pastry brush.
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired.
