Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Prepare the Dough:
On a lightly floured surface, roll the pizza dough into a rectangle about ½-inch thick.
Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide and 6 inches long using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
Form the Knots:
Take each strip of dough, tie it into a simple knot, and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the Knots:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the knots are golden brown.
Prepare the Garlic Butter:
While the knots are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant. Remove from heat.
Brush the Knots:
Once the knots are out of the oven, immediately brush them generously with the garlic butter using a pastry brush.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired.
Serve:
Serve warm and enjoy!
