Ingredients
  

  • For the Casserole:
  • 3 cups cooked and shredded chicken rotisserie chicken works great
  • 1 6 oz box of stuffing mix (such as Stove Top)
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • Optional Toppings:
  • Fresh parsley chopped
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Prepare the Stuffing Mix:
  • In a bowl, combine the stuffing mix with chicken broth and melted butter. Stir until moistened and set aside.
  • Make the Creamy Base:
  • In another bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk until smooth.
  • Assemble the Casserole:
  • Spread the shredded chicken evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken, spreading it out with a spoon.
  • Top with the prepared stuffing, spreading it evenly across the casserole.
  • Bake:
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the stuffing is golden and the casserole is bubbling.
  • Garnish and Serve:
  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley or Parmesan cheese, if desired.
