  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb steak such as sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta:
  • Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Season the Steak and Shrimp:
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the steak slices and shrimp with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
  • Cook the Steak:
  • In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak slices and cook until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Cook the Shrimp:
  • In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Make the Alfredo Sauce:
  • In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, whisking to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and continue to cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Combine and Serve:
  • Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta in the Alfredo sauce. Add the cooked steak and shrimp back into the skillet, gently tossing to combine everything.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
