Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz pasta penne, spaghetti, or your preferred type
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce adjust to taste
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese optional
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook the Shrimp: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until pink and fully cooked. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  • Make the Buffalo Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the buffalo sauce and heavy cream. Stir to combine, and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Combine the Pasta and Shrimp: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss it in the buffalo sauce until evenly coated. Add the cooked shrimp and toss again.
  • Serve: Serve the buffalo shrimp pasta in bowls, garnished with crumbled blue cheese (if using) and chopped parsley.
