Ingredients
  

  • For the Shrimp:
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • For the Mango Salsa:
  • 1 ripe mango peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 small jalapeño deseeded and finely chopped (optional for heat)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste
  • For the Tacos:
  • 8 small soft tortillas corn or flour
  • Optional toppings: sour cream avocado slices, shredded lettuce, or cheese

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Mango Salsa:
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the diced mango, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño (if using). Squeeze in the juice of one lime, add a pinch of salt, and toss everything together. Set aside to let the flavors meld while you cook the shrimp.
  • Season the Shrimp:
  • In a bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Squeeze half of the lime over the shrimp and toss to coat evenly.
  • Cook the Shrimp:
  • Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque. Avoid overcooking, as shrimp cook quickly.
  • Warm the Tortillas:
  • While the shrimp are cooking, warm the tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable.
