Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
Prepare the Chicken:
If your chicken breasts are thick, pound them lightly with a meat mallet to ensure even cooking. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Make the Parmesan Coating:
In a mixing bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
Coat the Chicken:
Dip each chicken breast in the melted butter, ensuring it’s well coated. Then press it into the Parmesan mixture, covering both sides. Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
Bake the Chicken:
Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the topping is golden brown.
Optional Sauce Addition:
If desired, spoon a small amount of marinara sauce over each chicken breast during the last 5 minutes of baking for a Parmesan-style twist.
Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with your favorite sides.
