Make the Homemade Sausage:
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork with sage, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the spices are evenly distributed.
Shape the mixture into 2 patties.
Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the sausage patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until fully cooked through and browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Cook the Bacon:
In the same pan, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
Prepare the Garlic Bread:
If you’re using store-bought garlic bread, toast it according to the package directions.
If making homemade garlic bread, spread butter and minced garlic over each slice of bread and toast it in a skillet or oven until golden brown and crispy.
Prepare the Eggs:
In a separate pan, heat a tablespoon of butter over medium-low heat. Crack the eggs into the pan and cook to your liking (sunny side up, scrambled, or over-easy). Season with salt and pepper.
Assemble the Sandwich:
Place the garlic bread slices on a clean surface.
On one slice of garlic bread, layer the homemade sausage patty, one slice of crispy bacon, and a cooked egg.
Add a slice of cheese on top of the egg and allow it to melt slightly.
Top with the other slice of garlic bread.
Serve and Enjoy:
Serve the sandwich immediately while it's warm. Cut it in half for easy eating and serve with a side of fruit or hashbrowns for a complete breakfast.
